The average global birth rate now stands at 19 births per 1000 population. Around 15-20% of the babies born worldwide suffer from the low birth weight which accounts for around 20 million in numbers and the largest chunk of it coming from India. This is majorly due to maternal malnutrition during pregnancy which could be the result of various reasons ranging from lower socio-economic status to morning sickness. Making nutrition affordable and convenient can help curb the problem and we are on the same mission.
